Sally Hansen came out with yet another textured nail polish - this time in a satin finish. I picked up the Satin Glam nail polish in Metal Iced, because I didn't have a colour like this.

Oh, hello there. I see that you are a kohl eyeliner...nice to meet you. I don't normally get involved with kohl liners...but for you, I think I could make an exception. 

I stumbled upon a new kohl liner collection from Maybelline's Color Show line at Shoppers Drug Mart down on 17th Ave and kinda got suckered in. To be fair, there were so many pretty colours - how could I not? I grabbed one in Graphite Grey as I was in the market for a grey liner and it seemed like it would be a nice one to try.

Awe. Cream blushes. My Achilles Heel. I just couldn't resist picking up one of Rimmel London's Stay Blushed Liquid Cheek Tints. I almost bought all five, but I controlled my makeup junkie urges. That's not to say I won't go back to the store in the near future and indulge. Believe me, they are worth it!

Whooza. Who would have thunk that Rimmel would be hiding such an amazing product at the bottom of their displays? The Color Rush Balms are a fantastic product. I'm amazed at the lack of promotion they are doing with them. Maybe they know how amazing they are and they'er letting the product speak for themselves. I dunno...I freaking love them!

I originally picked up just one of the balms in Drive Me Nude thinking it would be like all of the other ones I've tried over the past year. I was incorrect. It was so much better. I have tried Revlons Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and their ColorBurst Matte Balm, along with Cover Girls Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm. None compare to Rimmels Color Rush Balms in texture, pigmentation or lasting power.

Yeah! A new eyebrow product from the drugstore. There is a serious lack of decent eyebrow products at reasonable prices. I tested the new Super Liner Brow Artist, a 3-in-1 eyebrow pencil by L'Oréal Paris and I'm going to tell you straight up how well it works. 

But before you all hear my thoughts, here is the official spiel from L'Oréal Paris. 

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Color Rush Balm: Review and Swatche

Holy lasting power! These bad boys sure hold true to their claim of a lasting finish. I bought the shade Drive Me Nude thinking I would get a a slightly shear wash of beige and to be honest...not really want I ended up getting. Not that I'm really complaining, as I really love the colour. 

The balm came off as a slightly mauve colour on my lips. It is pretty moisturizing when you first put it on and it is pretty comfortable. There are 7 colours in the collection to choose that range from Give me a Cuddle (cool tone pink) to The Redder the Better (true red). All the colours are slightly shear and really wearable on the daily. 

I put it on at 7:30 a.m. this morning and the colour is still on 7 hours later. While it is not exactly pact full of moisture still, it's not uncomfortably dry. For a lip balm to last this long is unheard of...at least for me. I ate breakfast with a coffee this morning and I had a sandwich with a can of pop for lunch. 

How is the colour still showing on my lips! I'm sold on these and with a price tag of $5.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, you really can't go wrong.
