Oh snap! Am I really reviewing more balm stains? Heck yes I am. Can you tell I have a slight obsession with these kind of lip products? How could I not? They are super easy to apply on the go, they have awesome colour payoff and they super comfortable to wear. This time around I got four of Jordana's Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stains for $2.99 at Walgreens in Phoenix.

Woot! Woot! I love me some Wet N' Wild. How could you not! Wet N' Wild is one of those brands that really sneak up on you and surprise you with some goodies! This time around is their Megaslicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour...say that three times fast! Yes, I know...more jumbo lip crayons. But I love them! I wish I could say that I bought these in Canada...but I didn't. They might make their way up north, but we will have to see.

NYC jumped on the jumbo lip crayon wagon and brought us their Cityproof Twistable Intense Lip Color. They have been available in the states for some time, but are finally making their way to Canada. They retail for $3.99 and you should be able to grab them at any retailer that sells NYC. I know for a fact that Wal-Mart will be getting these as I have seen the display case in their permanent display already (haven't gotten the actual product yet though). I managed to get my paws on these from the states.

I haven't tried much of Hard Candy's makeup, and I'm not all that sure why. I think I might have tried something years ago and had a bad experience...I do love their nail polishes though. They have a fantastic range of colours and glitters.

Whooza. Who would have thunk that Rimmel would be hiding such an amazing product at the bottom of their displays? The Color Rush Balms are a fantastic product. I'm amazed at the lack of promotion they are doing with them. Maybe they know how amazing they are and they'er letting the product speak for themselves. I dunno...I freaking love them!

I originally picked up just one of the balms in Drive Me Nude thinking it would be like all of the other ones I've tried over the past year. I was incorrect. It was so much better. I have tried Revlons Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and their ColorBurst Matte Balm, along with Cover Girls Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm. None compare to Rimmels Color Rush Balms in texture, pigmentation or lasting power.

Holy lasting power! These bad boys sure hold true to their claim of a lasting finish. I bought the shade Drive Me Nude thinking I would get a a slightly shear wash of beige and to be honest...not really want I ended up getting. Not that I'm really complaining, as I really love the colour. 

The balm came off as a slightly mauve colour on my lips. It is pretty moisturizing when you first put it on and it is pretty comfortable. There are 7 colours in the collection to choose that range from Give me a Cuddle (cool tone pink) to The Redder the Better (true red). All the colours are slightly shear and really wearable on the daily. 

I put it on at 7:30 a.m. this morning and the colour is still on 7 hours later. While it is not exactly pact full of moisture still, it's not uncomfortably dry. For a lip balm to last this long is unheard of...at least for me. I ate breakfast with a coffee this morning and I had a sandwich with a can of pop for lunch. 

How is the colour still showing on my lips! I'm sold on these and with a price tag of $5.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, you really can't go wrong.
