Woot! Woot! I love me some Wet N' Wild. How could you not! Wet N' Wild is one of those brands that really sneak up on you and surprise you with some goodies! This time around is their Megaslicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour...say that three times fast! Yes, I know...more jumbo lip crayons. But I love them! I wish I could say that I bought these in Canada...but I didn't. They might make their way up north, but we will have to see.
So what do you need to know? Well, they are the typical twist up configuration that is super convenient and easy to work with. The colouring of the packaging matches the colour of the product, so it's also very easy to find the one your are looking for.The one thing that I love about the packaging for these guys versus all other versions of the jumbo lip crayon is the cap. It actually clicks shut. This makes them super reliable for throwing into your bag for on the go application.
As far as the formulation is concerned, they are very comfortable to wear. They glide on smooth and feel super moisturizing. They do eventually dry and loose their glossiness, but I don't find them uncomfortably matte. The lasting power is really good. It definitely leaves a stain to your lips, which is really nice. They are easy to reapply and give an added boost throughout your day.
Nudist Colony
Pink nude that has a bit more definition to it and does not conceal your lips. By far my favourite nude right now. It is super creamy and has a slight glossy shine. Leaves a slightly darker stain to your lips.
Rico Mauve
Pink mauve colour that gives you that "your lips but better" look. Creamy and has a glossy finish. Lasts a good 4 hours and leaves a very similar coloured stain to your lips.
Pinky Promise
Light pink with a frosted finish. The frost eventually leaves after about an hour of wear and the stain will be left behind. Creamy and glossy.

All in all, I really like these guys. Nudist Colony and Rico Mauve are now a staple in my purse. Love them. But I could really do without Pinky Promise...I dunno about you, but I'm not a frosted lip kinda gal. Way too eighties for my liking. For $2.24 at Walgreens? Yeah, go pick up yourself some of these bad boys.
