NEW from Maybelline: Expert Wear Shadow Palette, The Blushed Nudesa

And you thought Maybelline was done with the three palettes - The Nudes, The Smokes and The Brights. WRONG! Now they have brought us the Blushed Nudes! Not gonna lie...I'm super excited for this one.

I skipped on the other three palettes as the colours were not calling me and the quality was not superb. But this little guy! I gotta have it!

Right now this palette isn't out yet but it is showing up on walmart.com. It's retailing for $19.98.

"Cheeks & Balances provides a dual-toned stick that is designed to deliver the perfect amount of highlighter, and blush/bronzer to sculpt, color and illuminate cheeks." Sounds great right? Is it too good to be true?

I haven't tried much of Hard Candy's makeup, and I'm not all that sure why. I think I might have tried something years ago and had a bad experience...I do love their nail polishes though. They have a fantastic range of colours and glitters.

Without saying Flower Beauty has the cutest packaging. The Kiss Sticks above, are shaped like a flower petal on the top and have rose gold detail. Who doesn't love rose gold right now? Drew Barrymore did a wonderful job with this line of products and I only wish that they were sold in Canadian Wal-Marts. As of now, you can only purchase them in the American Wal-Marts. Sad face.

Another great neutral palette from Wet N`Wild. Walking on Eggshells is a great little trio to have in your makeup collection as it really does have all the colours you need for a basic everyday eye look.

Revlon came out with some new nail enamels that I just couldn't resist. I only picked up three, but there was a whole whack of them. The three that I grabbed vary in texture and finish as I wanted to get a good feel of the newbies. I picked mine up at Wal-Mart.

Sweet as Candy is a great palette that you can use for your daily look. It reminds of me the Naked 3 as it is pink toned. If you are looking for a less expensive palette to give you a similar look you could achieve with the Naked 3, then pick this up! I'm late in the Wet N' Wild eyeshadow game, but boy am I glad I finally grabbed some. Silent Treatment has one of my favourite colours from all of the Wet N' Wild palettes I own - the lid shade. It is a silver mauve colour that it very difficult to describe. I suppose that is why I like it so much. Haul-a! Nail Polish Haul Featuring Revlon and L'Oreal

So does anyone else find it impossible to enter a Wal-Mart without making a b-line to the beauty department? I sure do. It's a like a magnetic pull. I could be in the dairy section at the total opposite end of the store just to get milk and I will still wind up in the beauty section. Okay...I have a very real problem, but it feels good to be bad.

I remember watching my older sisters, cousins and aunts put their press on's on and thinking they were so glamorous. The early nineties were a confusing and influential period for me. Hairspray, shoulder pads and press on nails were the trends and I was a sponge.

Whooza. Who would have thunk that Rimmel would be hiding such an amazing product at the bottom of their displays? The Color Rush Balms are a fantastic product. I'm amazed at the lack of promotion they are doing with them. Maybe they know how amazing they are and they'er letting the product speak for themselves. I dunno...I freaking love them!

I originally picked up just one of the balms in Drive Me Nude thinking it would be like all of the other ones I've tried over the past year. I was incorrect. It was so much better. I have tried Revlons Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and their ColorBurst Matte Balm, along with Cover Girls Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm. None compare to Rimmels Color Rush Balms in texture, pigmentation or lasting power.
