Look's like we got ourselves some new Kat Von D lipsticks to drool over. Sneaky Sephora. Hiding a lovely new product in the depths of their "What's New" section without any kind of promotion. Well, you can't trick me. I stalk that section. Lucky for you guys!
Let's just talk about the packaging. It's pretty freaking awesome. The black spikes give it that trademark Kat Von D look of badassery. But the sleekness of the spikes from tube to cap makes it look chic at the same time. Whipping out one of these bad boys while out on the town to reapply your lipstick will only get envious stares coming your way.
There are a total of 30 colours with various finishes and formulas to choose from. This really wasn't a whimpy release at all. Pretty much anyone can find something that will work for them. Dominating the line by a huge windfall would matte finishes with 24 to choose from. Colour range from nudes, pinks, berrys, reds and of course some vampy shades. There are 2 metallic finishes, 2 shimmer finishes, 1 iridescent finish and lastly, 1 sparkling finish.
Now let's talk about the names....oh yes, the names! I'm in love with all of the names! If your into metal music, you'll appreciate some of them - Motorhead, Thin Lizzy, Slayer. Of course, some of them are more simple, but awesome nonetheless - Underage Red, Homegirl, Poe, to name a few.
