I am a sucker for every single Tarte collection...especially when palettes are involved. I sorta inadvertently started collecting them a couple of years ago and now I can't seam to stop.
And I don't intend to!
This summer collection is nicely well rounded with two...that's right, two cheek and eye palettes. They are what appears to be Tarte's typical palette packaging - rectangle with six eyeshadows, a full sized blush and a large mirror (Poppy Picnic Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette) and the circular palette with six eyeshadows, a full sized blush, a bronzer (PAP), a highlighter and a large mirror (Showstopper Clay Palette).
What's great about the packaging on these little guys is that its sturdy. Real sturdy. I love to travel with them because I know it can handle some rough roads. Also, they have everything I need in them.
Let's talk about the rest of the collection. There is a new eyelash curler - Neon Lights Picture Perfect Eyelash Curler, which is the same ol' one that you all all have loved over the years but repackaged. Not gonna lie... I'm tempted to pick this one up. I love the coral and purple packaging....I don't even use an eyelash curler...haha.
Then there's the eyeliner - Lights, Camera, Lashes Precision Longwear Eyeliner. It's the same formula that's part of the permanent collection. Nothing special...just some repacking.
Oh, here's a goodie. I am dying to swatch this little gem. The collection comes with only one lipstick from their Amazonian Butter Lipstick collection but it's in Park Avenue Princess! Say what!!! Yes, the bronzer we ALL love now has a lipstick counterpart. Like I said...can't wait to swatch.
We got four new colours in the LipSurgence Lip Cream collection. I have never been tempted by these guys, but I hear great things. There are some beautiful neutral colours to choose from.
Lastly, we got ourselves something completely new from the brand - a suncreen - Tarteguard Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30. I don't know much about this little guys as its not on the website yet, but its seems interesting at the very least.
