Would you get a load of this?! These gorgeously packaged beauties is from the Canadian beauty brand Lise Watier's Aurora Winter 2014 Collection. It's inspired by the aurora borealis or better known as the Northern Lights here in Canada.
While I love the concept of creating a palette around a Canadian phenomenon, I do take issue with the colour choices. Where is the vibrant green? The northern lights are known for their majestically glowing and ever moving neon green lights. Not one product in the entire line is green... Now that I have that off my chest, let's look further into the collection. It includes one palette of six eyeshadows, two individual eyeshadows, a liquid eyeliner, a kohl eye liner, a eye shine eyeliner, a blush, a lipstick and lastly a lip gloss. Whew. That's what I call a complete collection. Let's get into the nitty gritty!

Annabelle Cosmetics just released a collection of self-sharpening pencils - Stay Sharp Waterproof Lipliner and Stay Sharp Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner- that are comparable to Smashbox's Always Sharp Eye Liners and Lip Liners. The pencils are expected to start popping up in Canadian stores throughout August and will be online at annabelle.ca on August 18.
Ok, so who was the genius to think of combining a dry shampoo with a shine finishing spray? Seriously. The minute I saw this I knew I had to share this with you all. A lot of my readers are for the United States, so you might not have known about this Canadian beauty brand - Cake Beauty. They are sold at Mural, Shoppers Drug Mart, well.ca and lastly, their online store. They do ship to the US from their store. So you should all check them out. I'm seriously going to pick this up. I love dry shampoos and I'm just recently have been getting into shine sprays not that my hair is darker. What do you think? Gonna try this newbie out?
